A vast range of materials. You won’t always find exactly what you need, but there will always be an alternative. I’ve been prototyping a product, and recreate had the exact fabric I needed in abundance. A prototype that would have cost me upwards of £150, for £15. The staff are very friendly and always offer great advice. They don’t have to be there, they choose to volunteer. Can’t fault recreate, 5 stars all day for the staff and service.

Visited for the first time yesterday it's great, also it's the perfect place for students to go to for supplies for big projects especially art & design projects And the volunteers are so helpful 👏👍

A great hidden gem for a crafter. You can get everything from materials to coloured film, boxes to house paint. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable about current stock. The membership is paid by adding £1 to your bill, but this is covered by everything being cheap . Well worth a visit for yourself or to get something to occupy the kids

What a fantastic place! It's a treasure trove of all kinds of things. It's the most random, colorful, imaginative place and perfect for craft projects for families, play groups, schools, scouts and Forest Schools. Everything is really reasonably priced too as it's all items that were destined for the tip/ scrap pile. There are carpet tiles, cardboard tubes, paint (indoor, outdoor and base coats), loads of fabric,leather, bamboo, wool, yarn, plastic, paper, cargo nets, cable wire spools, egg boxes, paper crafts and even wheels there today! They also have new items - particularly craft items - I bought some paint and brushes. All of this is subject to change of course depending on what they have at the time. Recreate also offer items for hire for groups, such as circus skills, parachutes, music items, pond dipping equipment If you're in Cardiff or the Vale it's worth checking out. I got a big trolley for £36 so I'm really pleased!
