The manager here who is a very large woman who wobbles when she walks, is very very rude. She is also a bully to the younger staff. In particular one young lad. I have seen her talk to him like utter rubbish numerous occasions. The shop is dirty, staff are always gossiping and even their reduced stuff is so overpriced! Staff are miserable and rude.

Just got my order(I order regular for delivery) 2 vital items missing and no substitution. Wasn't given receipt or told items missing. Found out when I called the Coop Store why not delvered. Now got to walk the mile and half to get items . was in major car accident few days ago so no car. I m not happy as I m still injured. We re really annoyed.

Bought a pack of Welsh cakes on the 23rd December, when I got home they tasted stale and on checked the date - they were 3 days past the best before date! The male member of staff (self-declared exempt from wearing a face mask) is so miserable and makes it obvious he would rather be anywhere else than serving in this Co-op. Such as shame as we love to shop in Co-op's and they are usually very good.

Always friendly and obliging they sell good fresh produce and as with all Co-ops they stock a full range of stuff for your area. Great place.

I have found the team at the Fairwater Co op store very welcoming, helpful and professional. During this very difficult time, I don't know what we would have done without them. The four weeks of lock down and we managed to find almost everything that we needed, when we needed it and at a reasonable price, all at the Coop. All the produce nice and fresh and well displayed. I would definitely recommend shopping at the Coop as they are an ethical organisation with good value and community minded. Please pass on our gratitude to the team for all they do, day in, day out. As helpful as any shop could be giving the circumstances. Plenty of hand sanitizer for customers entering & exiting. Staff are very professional, helpful and polite to customers. One star off for prices being higher than usual on certain items

Thursday 30th July served by a member of staff who gave me the feeling she didn’t really want to be doing what she was going today. I have tried ringing the shop and searched other avenues for feedback, but it seems this is only option left for me. This is not my local COOP store but I prefer the range of stock, and therefore go out of my way to visit. As others have commented you usually come across some very helpful staff members in this branch; indeed, a very helpful young man packed an elderly lady’s trolley bag whilst I waited in the queue. I had not seen the lady who served me before (blonde hair and wearing blue tshirt) but was not impressed by her unhelpfulness. There is little room to pack at these tills and staff are usually helpful selecting heavier items first and working at a pace that suits the customer. Not this lady - stuff being piled up in a limited space which I had to reach over my bag to get. At the end she just stood like a robot instead of helping to pass me things which I struggled to reach. I could feel myself getting really worked up ( and a little upset to be honest) and bit my lip to stop myself saying something to her - which probably would have upset me more. I suppose she didn’t want to split her lovely long nails by helping me. I question the training that staff are given - to not realise how awkward these tills are when trying to pack a bag. It was also fairly obvious that this woman was not going out of her way to help anyone.
